Catalina 275 Villa
Hi Considering a 275 Sport. Does anyone have one they are thinking about selling?

Also would love to see one if any owner is in North Texas and would be willing to show me their boat.

Finally would love feedback on the furling mainsail if anyone has one. I am aware of the pros and cons of both set ups but would consider either but curious to hear any owner feedback.

Thanks in advance. JB

Catalina 275 Wilmette, IL
Funny, about six months ago a C275 came up from Texas to Wilmette, IL at the same time I was getting ready to list mine. For half the summer we had four C275s in the harbor until I sold mine about three weeks ago as I'm upgrading to a 33' daysailer that arrived by ship last week.

I would say no to the furling mainsail. The sail is easy enough to handle without taking the performance hit that comes with a furling mailsail. I see the appeal of the ease of a furling mainsail, but I'm too much of a purist to sacrifice good sail shape for ease of use. The C275 has a self-tacking jib. To me, that ease of use is plenty. My new boat has a self-tacking jib and lazy-jacks. That's good enough for me.
