272 fuel storage

Does anyone have the interior dimensions of a 272 fuel locker handy? Or better yet, the number of the TEMPO fuel tank that fits? I think it's a 19 gallon. A friend has one, but in a Senior Moment I forgot to write the number down. He's left for the week, my boat's 2 1/2 hours away, and I'd dearly love to get the large tank in before I leave for The Apostle Islands next week.ThanksScotty

272 fuel locker

Scotty... if you're referring to the starboard external fuel locker, I don't think you'll get a 19 gallon tank to fit. My 272 has a 6 gallon metal tank that's shown in the WM catalog (#214809) and it just fits in the locker, with little room to spare. The tank dimensions are 9.5"H x 18"L x 11.5"W. Hope this helps.

I've got a slug of the 6gal tanks, but a sister ship has a TEMPO brand tank that fits with little room to spare.I looked at it Monday but didn't write the numbers down. 19 was probably stretching it, but I'd be happy with 12 or 14.
