I AM NOT CLOSE ENOUGH TO THE BOAT TO TRY THIS , SO I WILL ASK A STUPID QUESTION.I HAVE SEEN THIS DONE ON THIS SITE AND IT APPEARS THAT MMODIFICATIONS HAVE BEEN MADE SO THE TABLE CAN BE LOWERED INTO A BERTH. ON A 2002 260 HUNTER WILL THE TABLE DROP DOWN TO MAKE A BED IF YOU REMOVE THE PIN OR DOES THIS REQUIRE MODIFICATIONS TO THE BOTTOM OF THE TABLE. DROPPING THE TABLE DOWN IN LIEU OF UP SEEMS TO MAKE A GREAT BERTH. HOW IS REMOVING THE PIN A SIMPLE TASK? THANK YOU ESK II

H260 Table

Have you visited the H260 Knowledgebase page on this site? Go to: http://kb.sailboatowners.com/brand?post=871 Short answer; yes you have to remove the fiberglass cone on the underside to get the table to lower all the way down. When you do this, you create other problems too numerous to list. There are other options outlined in the knowledgebase but the table is designed to work with the V-birth as a very large birth when you swing it around. I have not done this, but here's what I consider the most elegant and best approach. http://shop.sailboatowners.com/sbo/image/display?name=/var/www/html/kb_media/871/304.jpg&type=load Still more at: http://h260.com/table/table.html
