New to me 260 kept in the water. Boat at slip has about an 8 degree list to starboard. No real surprize given the outboard is on that side but seems that something from a planning perspective might have take care of this. Only change I've made to the boat is replacing the two group 24 batteries with group 27. Anyone else find this angle of list "standard"?? Fair winds, Bill

Same with mine

Suspect your diagnosis is correct: Motor, battery, and cooler all on starboard. Only unique feature on the port side is the portapotty, and leaving that full enough to balance the boat is not an attractive option. Leaving the cooler empty also not a viable solution. Planning on moving the battery (and the future second battery) to the port side of the stern to help the balance. Only other option I can see is discretely placing the fat passengers on the port. Sooner or later, such sinister (no pun intended) maneuvering is bound to be discovered.

Mike is correct. You need to figure out what it will take to make the correction. It won't take much to level the boat out. I put my second battery on the Port side and the holding tank is also on the port side. No list at all.

I moved my house battery

and added a second battery (2 group 31's) on the port side of my 240. Also stored all the heavy stuff on the port side. Where is the fresh water tank on a 260?
