washers help
I had the same problem. I wanted to get replacements from Hunter, but I could not access replacement parts (just adds) on line and when I called I just got an answering machine. I took mine apart and inside there is a rubber "O" ring gasket. I took the old one to my local true value hardware store and bought one the same size. I replaced it with the new "O" ring and it works fine now. I do think in the long run you might be better off up grading with a better hand pump faucet. I think the Hunter faucets are cheaply made, but work ok for occassional use.
