260 bumper recommendation

We just purchased a 1998 260 and would like to protect her when docking etc. and also would like to have them convenient maybe mounted, open to ideas or what you have done or seen.

Removable fenders work for me.

If you will be keeping it in a slip you might want to mount fenders to the dock. That’s what I have done. I also keep fenders onboard for docking at other docks.

H260 helpful hint #38... Loosen (a bunch) the water ballast tank valve after loading onto the trailer but before pulling the boat from the water. The weight of the water on the valve will make loosening the wingnut impossible if you don’t.
