I was wondering what option I have for a bimini on the 260. It seems that the one offered by the dealer isn't going to give th cockpit much coverage. Thanks, Darren

works great

We have the six foot bimini on our 2000 H260. I prefer to sail without a bimini but my wife loves it and it works very well. Since we have wheel steering there is plenty of shaded seating area. It would be somewhat less with a tiller.

This site sells them

I don't have a 260. I have a 94' H26 and I purchased the seven foot bimini off this site and it works great. My wife won't sail unless it's out. It covers from the stern rail seats to almost the companion way cover. I had to put a second hook on the boom for the main sheet two feet forward to clear the bimini, I also use the hook for the first reef point sheet as a bonuse. That way all I have to do is reattach the main sheet when the bimini is not up to the original place. Good luck it is one of the best things I have done to the boat.
