26' Swing keel

Hello ,
I am looking for a 25' to 26' trailerable sailboat. Does anyone have experience with the Beneteau swing keel model? Do they have good sailing characteristics? What kind of Ballast do they have ? Is a swing keel a sound , reliable arrangement, etc. I would appreciate any input you might have.

Greg, where are you located??

In the USA, only the the First 210 was sold with a swing keel. In the ROW, the First 260 (which looked like a big 210) had the same swing keel controlled by a screw-drive system. The 260 is a bit on the tender side, but is generally very well regarded. Tons sold on the continent, less in the UK. Now the 260 is sold as the 25.7. Same boat.
