Replacement of the upper rudder bushing on the inboard rudder couldn,t be more straightforward, but does anyone know if the lower bushing could be replaced by lowering the rudder just enough to expose the old bushing, cut it off and put on a new one in two halves? With a split bushing total removal of the rudder wouldn't be necessary. The two halves would be held in place when raised back into place.
