C25 C250 Web Site

I would suggest you post your question at the C25 C250 web site (http://www.catalina-capri-25s.org). If any group could give guidance on vendors who support either of these two boats it would them

Mark's right

The Catalina 25/250/Capri association has a lot of helpful people. Check out our site. In the meantime, try Catalina Direct -- http://catalinadirect.com/ . You can also contact Catalina Yachts parts department for things. Particularly the seat cushions. They're pretty responsive to phone calls but their website leaves a lot to be desired. Can't even find the parts department there. If you have a wind speed indicator, that was likely an after market addition, not standard on a 250. You might have to check with the manufacturer of the gauge. As to the windvane, they're available at most chandleries. West Marine, Defender http://www.defender.com/ (great service -- no sales tax) are two that I've purchased from.

HID is C25

Starboardblown - I'm pretty sure that that HID that you posted is a C25 Had it been a C27, it would have had an "L" where there is a "K" - if it was a C22, it would have had an "H" . I can't easily put my finger on the complete "decoder ring" for HID's, but the "H", "K" and "L" stuff is accurate. The rest of that number - if you can find the magic decoder ring, would show you the model year and the month/year of manufacture and the hull number. Good Luck!
