I was looking for some information on how the centerboard is held in place on my O'day 25. It appears that there is a piece of metal acting like a stop, 3/4" wide x 3-4" long, held in place by two screws into the bottom of the keel, on the forward end of the keel, holding another metal slab that appears to be holding the centerboard in place. On my boat the stopping piece of metal is on the port side, with only one screw into the keel, and is hanging loose as a result, in addition it appears that I am missing this piece on the starboard side, which has allowed the other metal piece to slip away. I am thinking that my centerboard is now only held in place by the one screw. Are these parts available or do I have to have a machine shop make them. Does anyone have drawings and specs for this assembly? I am ready to launch, but I don't want to loose my centerboard. Thanks in advance.
