I recently purchased a 1979, 25 Oday, centerboard configuration that I am in the process of restoring. Here is where I need some guidance. In the cabin on the port side looking to the stern there are access boards which allow entrance to the water tank, or access directly under the cockpit. The boards were removed when I purchased the boat. The top board has pre-drilled holes which line up with the corresponding holes. The lower board has got me baffled. It appears to be too long and I am unsure how it is secured or mates up with the upper board. If there is a thread or photos or directions , I would be most appreciative.
Thanks,
David

are you speaking of the inboard wall of the quarter birth. if so the short upper board attaches to the top, and the longer, lower board is hinged at THE BOTTOM to the molding (settee if you will) annd latches to the upper board when it is raised. to further explain, when it is lowered it lies directely on top of the settee, or under the cushion of that birth. I am not my boat so i can't take a photo. If this doesn't help, attach a photo for us.

Keith,

Yes I was refering to the inboard wall on the quarter birth. Your explanation and assemble instructions are invaluable. It makes senses now. Since both sections were absent their hardware I know what I need.....

Thanks for your help.
