25.5 hunter w moviable cabin top

I have a 25.5 Hunter with the cabin top that has the ability to elevate.
The cabin top has a liner that is separating from the top. I have several
questions on repairing the top. What glue/sealant/adhesive should I use???
Should I remove the cabin top inorder to repair it on the ground?
