The wiring to my 25.5 bow pulpit running light has broken where it exits the deck and enter the pulpit. I would like to replace the bow lightwiring completely, but do not know how the wires are installed between the pulpit and light switch. Does anyone know how the wires are run through the boat, if the old wires would allow me to pull new wired through easily, and if there are any secrets that would help avoid problems fishing new wires?

I've had alot of experience with those wires...

...and they are impossible to pull through the seam joint. When Hunter set the deck down onto the hull, they used a gasketing material which is like roofing tar. The wires were run between the upper liner and the deck before it was set in place onto the hull. I ended up running new wire from the switch through the cabin sole and up the forward section of the V-berth. Maybe you'll get lucky, but the upper starboard hull-deck joint is not a wire-friendly environment... you may have to abandon it if it is not working correctly. Good luck! B
