Oday 222 Tahoe
The 222 that we just purchased came with a folding table like what is shown in the old brochures. I see how it sets over the sink, but were is suppose to be stored and is there some type of restraint for it?
Any help and photos would really be helpful.

I have a 1984 222. I have a bracket in the cockpit and inside for the table when in use. As far as storage I put in up under the cockpit between the bunks. Shore it up with a few pillows.

Thank you for the reply. I saw on the stern where something was mounted. Must have been the bracket that you described. Thanks for the storage solution. I looked al over and could not figure out where is went.

Picture of the original design table that I assume is refered to above.

O'DAY hinted at stowing it on one of the berths when not in use, possible it would tuck under the cushion on one of the quarter-berths or the V-Berth.

Yes, that is the table that I have. Mine looks to be never used. Thanks for the info.

The 222 table is an item that Oday really cut costs on. About the 2nd time I used mine most of the screws pulled out of the press board. The design is a good one but the materials used are junk. Yes you can use it in the cabin or cockpit but you'll prob. need to build a new one w/ better material. An idea from somewhere--- someone purch. a small, used table and cut it to size.

I see that the table is particle board, hardly the quality of the rest of the boat for sure.
It seems like a good idea to build a new one our of marine plywood. Thanks for the help.
