I bought my Catalina 22 and trailer for $1000.00 and for the money, their both in good shape! Already taken it out on it's first sail with my hand on the tiller as owner. I cannot lie and tell anyone I did it for the lines or the shape of the hull or anything other than it was the cheapest best boat I could find. I've not found another Catalina 22 online in the shape mine is for the money I paid. I bought it for it's price.
Since then, I've found how easy it is to get manufacturer's parts for, how forgiving the design is, how easy it is to sail, the rich history of the craft and how freakin easy it is to sail!
You gotta admit, they're beautiful on the water!!!!!! I've fallen in love with the Catalina 22 lifestyle.
