Running the reef lines
You have a shorter and longer reef line. To run the reef lines:1. The shorter reef line is tied-off to the eye strap located on the left side of the mast. The line is then run through the reef cringle on the sail and tied-off to the small cleat located on the right side of the mast. The reef cringle should be the second one going up the luff of the sail. It is in line with the reef points across the sail.2. The longer line is tied-off to the eye strap located on the left side of the boom toward the stern end. The line is run up through the reef cringle on the sail, down through the cheek block on the right side of the boom, along the boom through the eye strap and is tied-off to the small cleat on the boom closest to the mast. Now you can use the reef lines to provide your reefed tack and clew points on the main sail. You will have to remove the sail stop to get the clew reef cringle down to the boom and then replace it.
