#ygrps-yiv-468322702 p {margin:0;}Hi Peter ...Quick note to say I/we're no longer Vega(tarians) ... we've shifted our gaze to a Fisher 34 ... but at least we're staying true and keeping to 70's vintage boats!! Only Swedish to English this time! Of course, a bit of work ... but that's fine ......As for GRIFFIN ... quite the story ... I placed her for sale two weeks ago today ... and she was sold within 3 days!!! I had "hoped" that a young couple who were capable and motivated to sail her would happen along ... and that's exactly what occurred!! GRIFFIN is now owned by Thor and Camille Munns of Port Orchard ... and the boat is berthed nearby your old charge SIN TACHA. I've told them of the RDVU and the Vega Association.Sooo .. hopefully SOMEDAY we'll make it to Vega rdvu! If we're allowed! Next step is the Fisher rdvu!Best regards,Tom RoseFrom: pjacobs55@...To: AlbinVega@yahoogroups.comSent: Friday, April 4, 2014 10:14:20 AMSubject: [AlbinVega] 2014 Pacific Northwest Vega (et al) Rendezvous

Once a VEGAtarian.....Fisher's are nice and certainly a boat for all seasons. Love to take a closer look. Peter has an Albin Ballad, Jim and Gloria have an Ericson, Howard and Sheila have a Mecator 30, Austin has a new boat and we have a Wauquiez Centurion (well all used to own Vegas). All except one I believe was built in the 70ties. Mitzi and Bear and boatless but true VEGAtarians, Max and Alice have a Vega, Judy and Ken have a Vega and who knows who else is out there who may or may not own a Vega, but know that they share the VEGAtarian philosophy - "just give er eh". We will always be VEGAtarians at heart. Feel free to attend the rendezvous whenever....Cheers

Tom...there are just a couple Vegas at the "Vega" Rendezvous. Mostly its a rendezvous of people who like each other, once owned a Vega...or thought about owning a vega, and just like to get together in pretty places!Sheila

I am so disappointed to report that we will be in California at a family wedding at that time. Pt. Browning is my favorite rendezvous spot. Not that I'm asking the date to be changed for us, but we could come later in August or early to mid July.Judy Schwan and Ken McMillenAkvavit 1869
