I just picked up a used 2012 Mercury 4 HP outboard. Does anyone know were I might download a manual for it? I've tried the google search and can't find any manual for it.

Mercury and Tohatsu are identical, go to the manufacturers web page, look for Support and find Downloads. Many web pages will want to charge you so make sure it is the manufacturers page an not one that jus uses the name.
Here I looked it up for you, I have a 5HP and can use a copy too. The Mercury Site wanted $67 for a manual. Good all American business acumen. The Tohatsu is free and the engines are identical.

Tohatsu is an old and large reputable manufacturer, they manufacture the small engines for Mercury.
