I wanted to let everyone know about an event this February at Lake Havasu Az. This event is known as the "Lake Havasu Pocket Cruiser Convention" and what started as a group of "trailer-sailors" just getting together in the middle of winter has grown in three years to a gigantic gathering of trailer-sailors from around the country. Last year was the third year for this event and it brought 70 boats from 9 states. The City of Lake Havasu has gotten behind this event and is helping to promote it hoping to draw over 100 boats this coming February. The dates for the event is February 14-21, 2011. I have attached a link to the current web site for the 2011 event, and it includes a nice 10 minute video by the guy,(Sean Mulligan) who started this event and has worked so hard to help build it. I believe this event would be a natural for trailerable Catalina's. Please take some time to watch the video and looking at the link.
