2008 Newport to Ensenada Race?

Hey Rick, good luck in the race. I'll be sitting in Gordon West's radio class that weekend. I'm just chomping at the bit to get the new radio installed and running. And the NOSA website says they now have over 350 entries. And have a few cervezas for me as well.

Rick, I'll be on my dock neighbors boat,
a Pearson 42 in non-spin. Not sure what class that is. I hope there's more wind this year than last year. We only made it to Dana Point before we bailed.

Rick D. Unfortunately we cant do it this year. Good news is because we are closing and moving into our last stop "dream home" finally. Was just such a buyers market out here in Phoenix. We couldnt resist. That being said, we will be back next year so this year best of luck and win it all. We left Mission Bay yesterday morning in quite the swell. Waves were up to the top of the jetty, which I estimate about 18 feet with the tide. Winds were right on the nose. No way to sail out and no where to go. Come on little Yanmar dont fail me now! Cheers
