I put my foot through the rightside bow plexiglass window. What is the best way to replace and where to get it? thanks for all of the help.

Must have been some party.

1. Check the archives here under "search" for a long list of installation procedures.

2. Check the SBO store here for parts. If none show, e-mail them and they may be able to source the parts.

3. If you're a DIY kind of guy, make you own. Acrylic is nice to work with if you have a good selection of woodworking tools.

thanks so much! it was a good party. I can do most of the work myself. I have emailed the parts store, so I am waiting for them. If they do not have it, where do you think I can get a piece to make that is the same color? Also, If I need a bend, can I heat it in the oven? thanks,ds

Try you local yellow pages to see who carries acrylic. Should be locally available as it's quite common.

Shaping to size can be done with a router template bit. Good for +/- 0.01"

Don't know if you'll require any bending as most fixed ports are pretty flat. Use screws to hold in place while the DC 795 sets but be sure to remove once set (bad thermal expansion). Screw holes are then filled with the black 795 and disappear.

If you are near the coast where there is a large repair yard, ask if they have a scrap pile of lexan and go see. If there is any that will fit your need, then it will be a lot cheaper as you will probably have to purchase an entire sheet which in the end the glass company would keep without telling you.

If you do cut, use slow speed with a blade designated for cutting metal. In other words, a fine tooth blade for lack of words. Also, remove the debri as you go along and take your time. Be sure to sand the edges. If you have to drill into it for screws, again go very slow and I would predrill a small hole to give you a point to drill with the larger bit but only put an indentation in with the smaller bit.

Never use acetone or anything like that when cleaning and suggest only alcohol. Hope this helps.
