I am not sure if you are talking about the 216 or 25. If the 25, you could bring the main halyard around and use it in place of the jib halyard to lower the mast. I would not use it for lifting the mast up. You do have to be careful and take the end of trhe main halyard line and tie it off to a cleat even though it probably goes thru a rope clutch.
If a 216, then you manually have to drop that mast.
