Hello,

Does anyone know how to lower the salon table to make it into a bed? When we try the table will not go down to the height of the other storage areas.

Thank you.

My 08 came with a second set of legs. They are shorter. When you want to lower the table you have to lift it out of the floor brackets, remove the legs, insert the shorter legs and then reinstall the table.

We have the parts, but honestly so much trouble that we've never bothered. The insert cushion is still at home in the basement and has never been on the boat.

Hello, We are the second owners and did not receive a second set of legs for our 2006 or an additional cushion, The table is actually to wide to drop all the way down to the other storage areas. Thank you for the response/

Perhaps it is a different design on the 38 from the 06 to the 08 model. Our table has a leaf that can be removed however I think the table is too small to fit the supports if the leaf is removed.

I have 2007 H-36 and the table drops down and has just 1 pole with a nob that allows the pole to go up and down and do you have the same pole.

We have a 2006 h38 just purchased last year. the salon table has two telescoping supports and no extra posts came with it.
We have used the table as a berth. With the leaf it the edges sit on top of the seats at each end. There is a little bump but with the cushion it almost goes away.

I wondering if any H-38 owners have any photo's of their table with the leaf and how it is used and been
thinking of adding a leaf to the port side of my tables for years and would love to see any idea help.

Thanks for the photo's,pretty much what I was thinking of doing with the ends of the leaf so it would not
block from sliding into under the table.

Nick,
Here are 2 pics from a European 356 ad publication where it had the optional fold down table shown.
As a note I was thinking about doing the same thing just to get more people around the table comfortably.
