Tank monitor display has faded and not readable. Monitor system does work. Is this a float or sensor system? Guessing float as it is original. SCAD tech says their monitor will read float as well as sensor.. Question: is original monitor from 2005 a float and if so, has anyone replaced it with the SCAD monitor?

Pretty sure it was a sensor system, made by snake river electronics. They are no longer in business.
