2004 Hunter36 keel

Hi Group
looking at 2004 H36. For that year , is the keel lead or iron.

Lead. About 90% sure. My 356 was lead.

My 2007 H-36 is lead and around 2007 Hunter was suppose to be using Iron keels.
My boat was delivered in Jan 2007 so was really built 2006 and used lead before switching to Iron.

Is there an 'easy' way to determine whether a keel is lead or iron?

Try a magnet. That's how i figured our '08 wasn't lead. The fairly strong cabinet door magnet was weakly attracted to the keel.
