2004 Hunter 41 AC

Hi all,

I am looking at a 2004 Hunter 41 AC and was wondering if someone could explain the discrepancies. If you look at sailboatdata.com it lists the 41 DS (2006-). If you look here under specifications you get a 41 but it also is listed as 2006-.

So what am I looking at? And does anyone have any comments pro or con on this model?

I would ask the broker to clarify. Or if you get the hull number you can determine the year from that. Or if you know the boat name you could even look up in the CG register if documented. Or you could send a question to Hunter because eddie is normally pretty fast at getting back (I got tech drawings on a Sunday once).

Or maybe what you are looking at is a 410. But I thought that only went to 2003.

the 41 AC and DS use the same hull with a somewhat different layout below and two different decks - the DS has the raised coachroof for more headroom and the AC is a more traditional aft cockpit. 2004 -2007 had a lead keel and the 2008 on DS had cast iron. The AC was dropped somewhere in there because the DS was much more popular
