2000 Hunter 320 owners w/ rubber rub rail

The rubber rub rail on a 2000 320 has black spots all over it.It looks like Mold? but I cant tell.I am trying to get it off.I have tried Soft Scrub,Boat soap,Acetone,etc.Do any of the other 320 owners have this problem and what did you use to get it off?

which is made by Star-Brite may do it. The problem in some cases is that the spot is from hitting the rubrail on a slip pole, making a really big impression on the rubrail.
