1999 Beneteau cc

thinking about the purchase of a 1999 beneteau 36 center cockpit thats in really good shape and at a fair price. I would appreciate any comments from you guys.

From someone who likes CC boats, I'd caution you to take a good look from a distance at the lines. I know this is a highly personal and subjective observation but 36 feet doesn't appear (to me) long enough to accommodate the looks of a CC in a very attractive way ( see picture). Then there is the compromised size of the salon.Don

I agree with Don

I have been on this boat and it sailed very well but it is not exactly the best looking Beneteau around. But beauty is in the eye of the heholder and center cockpits have alot to offer in terms of safety and space. I say go with what you like.Good Luck.--Dan
