Hi,

I have several access panels inside the cabin throughout the boat that are removable so you can gain access to parts mounted like winches and cleats and wireways. They are covered by what looks like plywood and formica and cut to size, see attached pics. They are no more than 1/4" thick.

Is this all they are or is there somewhere I can buy them to order? The wood side edges are beveled a bit for some reason. I need two new ones and don't know where to get them.

Any ideas? I'd like to get something that looks the same as what I have, so I don't need advise on using teak or starboard poly which is too thick.

Thanks

what type of plywood on the back end? Just a good quality marine plywood? It is very thin.

no, formica is usually a man made material backing with a glue substance on it. This is definately wood. I was told by Hunter it is 1/4" marine plywood. Now trying to find that is a challenge all to itself. I only need 7" x 7" piece.

I have both of these on my 376 1998. The almond covers are around my mast on cabin top and I believe them to be Formica as Phil stated. In the aft berth there is an access panel of 1/8" thick +/- teak veneer plywood. Hope that helps.
