I'm looking to replace the sliders on my mast for wheeled cars, any of you had any luck with this?
Also, if anyone has a tec drawing of the Isomat mast, would help with dimensions.

Thanks Phil

The problem with sliders is the often don’t ....
in any boat we ever owned which had them, one of the first and best fixes we made was to substitute cars. Much easier to both raise and lower compared with properly operating slides. Harken always seemed to me to offer the superior options but that’s just a personal preference.

If stack height is one of your concerns, they offer a track split system which effectively halves the height.

Sailcote is a spray can dry lubricate that I use to make sail hoisting and dropping easy as pie. Before raising the sail I apply the lubricate to both sides of the slugs. Makes a night and day difference in raising and dropping the main. Only needed a couple of times each season. Try it before dropping $$ for new slugs/sliders.

You can also use a lanyard connected to a lubricate soaked swab inserted inside the track to clean the track by hoisting the swab with the main halyard and pulling it back down with the lanyard a number of times. That also helps. It sure made a difference with our main.

Thanks for the heads up guys, I did use a silicon spray last year & it did make a difference, looking for something a little more permanent.

Installed Harken Bat Car system on my 37.5. Made a big difference but last 3 or 4 ft was still a grind. Purchased a Milwaukee 90 degree drill Problem solved
