My dealer convinced me to replace my original main halyard in hopes it would cure the line from slipping out of the clam cleat. IM not to sure it will work but I know the halyard needs replacing. I realized later that my original halyard had a splice for the shackle which is much cleaner and nicer looking. I will tie the shackle with a bolin does anyone know if this will still let me raise the main to the maxium height. I also replaced my horn cleats with the spinlocks per this forum, THANKS FOR THE INFO. I have pics but having trouble downloading them.
