Anyone know where to get the little moldings that stop you catching your toe on the end of the genoa tracks? Mine have disintegrated over the year

4 new ends just arrived from SBO a few days ago. They had the best price that I could find with shipping. You probably take the same 1" ones as my 91 30T.

Has anyone had trouble unscrewing these end caps. The first one I tried is stuck. Won't budge with a phillips screwdriver. I tried turning it with my impact driver by hand. Before I hit the driver with a hammer I thought I better ask. What is behind this screw? Am I going to mess something up if I try harder?

Wow - they came out okay from my '91 h30. I think they take a #1 phillips. Eddie B. told me the entire track is screwed into an aluminum plate glassed into the deck so I assume the end stops are also. Once you free it, put teff gel on the new screw.

Thanks Dan. Sounds like it has solid backing. I'll spray some PB Blaster on it, let it soak in, and try again.

Inside is an aluminum piece that is drilled and threaded. I used an impact screwdriver and it worked fine on ours. I had to run a tap in to clean the threads before putting the track back down. Ours was up to rebed it for a water leak. 1989 Hunter 30.
