1990 Hunter 27 Mast Weight

I recently purchased a 1990 Hunter 27. At the end of March I am moving the boat from Kerr Lake, Henderson, NC, to Cave Run Lake, Morehead, KY. I have hired a boat transporter to move the boat for me. This will involve the use of a crane to lift the boat onto my trailer.

Obviously we will be lowering the mast to make this move. Does anyone know the actual weight of the mast on this boat?

I have a 1992 Hunter 27 and have unstepped the mast most seasons. With the forestay attached and all halyards, rigging, and radar dome attached 2 people can lift it but its heavy. I'd estimate 150 to 250 lbs. It will depend on how it's rigged.

I step the mast on my 1990 Hunter 27 every year and I would have to agree that it is in the 250lb range.
