1990 H30 Air Conditioning

Has any one installed air in a Hunter 30, 1988-1994?If so where did you put it?

1990 H30 AC

My compressor is installed just forward of the water tank in the vberth including water pump thru hull and discharge. the evaporator filter is located in the starboard side cubby hole at the front of the v berth. the air duct runs through the hanging locker and exits thru the top of the locker into a dual grille outlet teak box with a small vent to the vberth and a larger vent thru the bulkhead into the main cabin.Hope this helps, you can email me at gm18sail@aol.com.Do you have refrigeration and if so how do you like it and would you do it again?thanks, gerald "tranquility"

refer is great

Put a refer in this spring . Nothing like a cold beverage on a hot day. installatioon of AB cold machine not too tough. needs to connect to battery directly with its own breaker. can do it with two guys in a day. put the compressor in the starboard side under seat. two vents to let in air.
