To Cathy:
I really liked my '87 C-30 MkII. However, the cruising ammenities on it were spartan, and my wife and I like to spend weekends on teh boat as well as taking a 2 week summer cruise. After taking a long look at what it woule cost us to upgrade the C-30 to what we wanted to have (refrigeration, a better cockpit table, wind instrument (which would have required a replacement pedestal guard and instrument pod) we were looking at about $10,000. My wife then said "you know, after we spend this money, we will still be sleeping on the dining room table."We had been looking at the C-320 since it was introduced (and before we bought the C-30), and really liked it. The interior ammenities are superior to those of the C-30, (especially the aft cabin, which is better on the C-320 than it is on the C-34 or the C-36), and for me, it handles better under sail (much better than the 12 sec / mile PHRF difference would have you believe) than the C-30 (especially upwind in light air into chop and down wind in big waves). We liked our C-30 and we love our C-320.SteveAlchemist C-30T #4764Alchemist C-320 #909
