1990 35.5 instrument upgrade

Hi I have purchased an ev100 auto helm and an Axiom +9 I presently have a pod with a 7” A78 And the auto helm is an old 4000 Was wondering if anyone has replaced theirs and how you picked up power and ran wiring to the panel on these boats I have the st60 wind and speed that I am hoping to connect

Hi,
There is information here on installing the ev100 on a Hunter 37.5, which may have similar constraints to a 35.5. I took the power straight from the batteries through a separate breaker box in the starboard aft locker. Photos in the posts. I later moved the batteries to under the aft berth, but kept this arrangement because getting wires to the chart table was too difficult.
