Anyone with a 1990 or so Hunter 35.5 have an idea how much hose I need to get to replace my hot water hose from the engine to the water heater under the settee just below the sink?
Boat is in Mexico, I am guessing 15 feet each way (5/8" ID?), but it is spendy, hate to buy more than I need.
Any other advice on changing this out?

If your 35.5 is somewhat like my 33.5 of the same year- my water heater is under the settee just forward of the sink in the galley. I used wire ties to connect the old hose to the new hose and then used dish detergent as a lubricant and pulled the hoses through one at a time. They did not come easily and I was thankful for the multiple wire ties. I also don't remember the lenght but was surprised that I needed more than I thought- I bought long and was glad I did- Good luck

It's 5/8, correct?
Thanks for the input. Might put a small wood dowel in and screw into the wood w flathead for a flat surface to combine hoses.

We are replacing ours this week so thanks for the info. It is very helpful.

I'm having trouble sourcing the hose. Link to where you bought yours?
