I'm a proud new sailboat owner and need to know how to access inner hull area to update both speed and depth transducers. I imagine the original cables pass by the nav table from the head to somewhere below the cabin floor. With one transducer on port and other starboard, do I need to remove all floor boards ? Also purchased a ST60 wind instrument and its probably a good time to install the mast cable as well. Any advise would be much appreciated.

I'm doing the same thing with my '90 H30. I think the xducers and bulkhead mount autohelm instruments are aftermarket on mine. The ducers are accessed under the step to the forward berth, and the cables were run under the sole boards, up the inside forward corner of the head (under a piece of trim) and above the head liner to the bulkhead.
I've decided to install the instruments at the helm, so now the cables (seatalkng) will run back to the aft lazarette area and up to the pedistal with the other wires and control cables.

Excellent, I imagine the fwd step is screwed down some way. I could possibly use the old xducer cables to pull in the new ones once the thruhulls are installed. Me too, I want to install a helm navpod for my wind, autopilot and chartplotter. My other challenge is the wind vane and cable, I read somewhere that the mast cable runs down the stachion and under the floor pan somehow. One would have to remove the stanchion by the top first and feed the wind vane cables downward and port side under the pan towards the port bench seat.
