Does anyone know the fairly accurate center-to-center dimension of the steering pedestal railing on a 1989 H27?

Railing diameter would be helpful too.

Yes, I know it's a rather obscure question :)

Are you talking about the location of pedestal steering in the cockpit? Does your current boat have pedestal steering or a tiller

Dave,
The boat has pedestal steering as shown. I don't have access to the boat right now but want to fabricate a mounting bracket that clamps to the railing attached to the pedestal. See Picture

@DHembree

I always referred to that as a pedestal table stainlesd steel support made by Edson. Unless you do not have the right gear to fabricate that support, I would suggest buying one but you will need to know there are two sizes in length

Although I introduced the boat for Hunter as a dealer, it has been over 30 years ago. SBO store has the build list of parts for your boat

While I do plan to fabricate a table similar to the one shown in the picture, there is another support I want to fabricate for a GPS mount. I just need the dimension of the spacing between the rails. I'm trying to do as much as I can until I have access to the boat. The table is easy. Edson wants too much for their hardware kit, and I like to make stuff:)

For anyone that needs this information, the center-to-center dimension of the rails is 9-1/2".

The diameter of the rail is 1"
