1989 30G Spinaker Spec's

Can anyone out there give me the tri-radial spinaker specifications for a 1989 30G? It is the tall fractional rigged boat and I would be runing the 'chute' from the spinaker halyard above the forstay (i.e., not at the top of the mast). Thanks.

If it's 1989 it should be a 30T??

I purchased a reaching chute from Sail's East with a snuffer. All I did wasgive them the "J", "I" and "P" dimension. Also, this info is in your HunterManual. I did give the model 30T and year 1993 for my boat. Most sailmanufactures can quote you with this info. You can get a Doyle Sails quote on a spinnaker right here at Products for your Hunter. I race ourboat every Wednesday night on Lake Michigan. Hope this helps you out.

"G" model H30

the "G" model was produced in 1988,1989, and 1990. The "T" or trunk top model came out some time in 1991. I have brochures on both and own a 1990 model.The I is 36'10" and the J is 9.75'. The best set up for this boat is a 200% spinaker with an oversize pole but i am afraid you may not be able to stand the phrf penalty if Lake michigan is still rating the base boat in the 174 -177 range.Ask around, i know there are some excellent sailmakers in your area (i have raced s27.9's against some of them in the past} that can custom fit sails for your boat as well as give you some pointers on how your particular boat needs to be sailed on each point of sail.Good luck
