1986 Hunter 34 shaft dimensions

I am trying to find the shaft dimension of my 1986 Hunter 34. What I had measured I am being told that it is an unusal size. I thought I measured 2.5 in. Does anyone have the dimension or a source for the dimension? regards, T

I think that it is a 1 inch diameter.

I think that the shaft is a 1 inch diameter. What are you using the measurement for?

PSS shaft seals

replacing my stuffing box. I have shaft size as 1 in but my dimension for the stern tube appear to be the dimension that is screwy. Sorry mistated earlier.  any thoughts on the stern tube?

Shaft is 50 3/4" long x 1" diameter

the original shaft was bronze but many folks replaced them with stainless.my stern tube measured 1 5/8" which is an unusual size
