My wife and I bought a new 34' and named her Ulanor. We then sold her in 1989 to an Air Force officer based in Charleston SC months before Hugo wiped out the area.
We never heard what happened to our girl but a search of Coast Guard records show she survived and was renamed Top Hat and was last registered to a lady in Ohio. And that's as far as our research has gotten.
We're now both retired from the Air Force and may someday get another cruiser but we remain curious as to what ole Ulanor/Top Hat has done since we last saw her at the Wild Dunes marina (dock F-16) almost 28 years ago.
Has she crossed any of your paths?
Thanks,
Jerry
