I own an old First 375 with a Goiot pedestal. My throttle control is going, and I'm looking for a replacement that will fit on the Goiot pedestal. The control is a single lever with a single push button in the middle. The control was coupled to the original Volvo engine, but I have recently installed a new Volvo 30hp engine. Does anybody have any ideas for replacing the existing control with a new control, like a Morse or ? I have been told that there are no available controls that will retrofit onto the Goiot pedestal due to the pedestal configuration and throttle control housing. I find that hard to believe, but perhaps that's true. Any help is appreciated.
