My fuel throttle is slipping in my pedestal . I can't hold RPM's unless I hold the throttle down. Any ideas on how to keep it from slipping would be greatly appreciated

If you remove the compass and look inside you will see a screw that is in-line with the throttle control. Tighten it just a bit and it will create friction on the control shaft.
There may be another device down on the cable housing in the engine compartment that looks like a stainless clip with a bolt in it. Tighten the bolt and it deforms the cable housing increasing friction of the cable.
I like the first method as it doesn't permanently deform the cable and possibly shorten its life.

Devise a wedge out of cardboard and jam it between the lever and pedestal at the desired throttle position. If you want a more permanent gadget cover the cardboard with masking tape and include a piece of string tied around the base of the lever and you can add some Velcro to hold it against the pedestal when not in use. Used a similar devise for many years and was very satisfied with its simplicity and performance. I did have to re-build the original wedge after the first 5 years which took about 5 minutes with readily available materials.
The H31 used a clamp to literally compress the throttle cable sheating onto the cable. My original one was in the engine compartment. Yours probably needs to be tightened. I replaced it with a very small muffler style clamp so I could adjust as needed.
