Good day, everyone! I have a 1984 Hunter 31 that was given to me by a friend. It has been sitting for a while, so I'm going through and getting her fixed up and hope to get some use out of her this year.
The bilge pump is coming up on my to-do list. PO had one that sat loose in the bilge with a wire leading out that, when he wanted to pump down, he'd just hold the leads to the battery terminals. I'm not really okay with that setup, so I'd like to reinstate a more permanent arrangement. Can anyone help me out with photos or diagrams of wire routing, placement in the bilge, discharge piping and connection, etc.? I'm having trouble figuring out how to get anything out of the main bilge without drilling holes in fiberglass - and I'm not quite ready to go there yet.
Next time I'm at the boat I'll snap some pictures of what I have in place.
Thanks!
