My original Standard Horizon DS10 sounder display is almost unreadable and until I pull the boat to add a new garmin DST800 triducer, I want to pair the original transducer to my Garmin 741xs chartplotter. I plan to buy an 8-pin cable and wire the transducer wires into it to try to get the data on my chartplotter. The DS10 required a 200kHz transducer, which I can configure in the 741xs, but I need to know the wattage and impedance. I can't find any data on the transducer besides the number "493" written in pen on top of it and that it is bronze. I don't know if this was a common transducer installed on these boats, but if someone has the model number, it would sure help.
