1983 Hunter 36

I am thinking about buying a 1983 Hunter 36. Anyone have any advice? I am not familiar with the design of the centerboard keel. Are there any problems or advice? Any common problems with a boat of this vintage? I have been sailing a Pearson Ensign for years. This would be our first venture with a bigger boat. Please help! Any feadback would be much appreciated.

Are you sure of the year? I was under the impression that 1982 was the last year Hunter Marine made the H-36. They also made the Quest 36, a kit boat, which could be a 1983.We have a 1982 H-36, purchased in 1984 as a previously owned boat. Still have it and would be glad to answer any specific questions you might have.Ernie
