I need to take the cabin headliner down to get to the through-hull items so I can recaulk to eliminate leaks. The headliner is really in great shape and I hate to run the risk of changing that. Are there any tricks of the trade that might allow me to reinstall the headliner with a significant amount of personnal pride????

I have a 1979 39' Irwin Citation "Mystic" that is docked on the Corottoman River off the Rappanhock. The interior was redone about 8 years ago and the headliner was part of the redo. It was replaced due to mildew that was to much trouble to remove. The molding around the headliner was not to tricky to remove and replace but it was in good condition. The only thing you want to watch is having a good foundation to replace the screws in the molding when you complete the replacement. Sorry I don't have pictures of the interior but if you really need some I will be glad to get them. Good Luck
