1982, 37 cutter

Hello friends ,
I was wondering about what was the original prop size that came from the factory on my 37 cutter. as I have a max prop on it now that came with the boat when I got it.I have played with the pitch and it will max out at 3000 rpm but never see hull speed past 6.5 knots. I cruse at 2500 about 4.5 knots. oh yea its a 16 inch prop with what I believe is a 14 pitch. any help would be appriciated thanks all,

I believe that my 2-blade prop is original. It is a 16 X 15 RH. I have the 3QM30 engine. I usually see about 7 knots at 2500 RPM. (Less when the bottom is dirty or the waves are big.)

what is the maximum rpm that you can get ??? mine is 3000 no more

I never go past 2500. According to the manual, the 3QM30 is rated at 30 HP@2600 RPM (continuous) or 33 HP@2800 (one hour).
